Hilton Garden Inn Yokohama Minato Mirai to Open in Early 2026
The JR Central Group (Central Japan Railway Company) and Marriott International have announced that Hotel Associa Shin-Yokohama, which is directly connected to Shin-Yokohama Station in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, will be rebranded as Courtyard by Marriott Shin-Yokohama Station. Operations as Hotel Associa Shin-Yokohama will end in early May 2026, and the property is slated to open under the new brand in August 2026.
This will be the first Courtyard by Marriott property in Kanagawa Prefecture. In conjunction with the rebranding, all guest rooms will be renovated. Interior design will be led by Doyle Collection, expressing the beauty of Shin-Yokohama—an area that has developed alongside the opening of the Tokaido Shinkansen and is blessed with abundant nature—through subdued color tones and soft lighting. The hotel will retain its 203 rooms while adding two sets of connecting rooms, and the 10th-floor lobby will be expanded so that guests with large luggage can check in and check out comfortably. The 12th-floor lounge will also be completely redesigned.
