JAL: Fee-Free Changes for Tanegashima/Yakushima Flights on Sept 4 as Typhoon No. 15 Nears Japan
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has reached a labor agreement with three labor unions for its ground staff.
The agreement with the unions NVLT, VKP, and De Unie is a provisional deal valid through the end of December 2026. Wages for all ground staff will increase by 1% starting in October, with a further 1.25% increase from July 2026.
In addition, a one-time payment of 750 euros will be granted under full-time contracts. The “80-90-100” scheme—under which older employees work 80% of standard hours for 90% of pay while maintaining 100% pension accrual—has been made permanent. Revisions to social security arrangements were also made, and the parties agreed to leverage productivity and flexible working arrangements.
Negotiations with the two unions FNV and CNV are continuing.
