sequence KYOTO GOJO will host a “Japanese Tea Afternoon Tea,” made with Kyoto-grown tea leaves, in Kyoto, Japan through October 13.
Featuring tea leaves that represent Kyoto—such as sencha, genmaicha, hojicha, and matcha latte—the menu includes premium matcha ice cream; matcha and raspberry tart; hojicha and caramel chocolate mousse; a verrine of sencha panna cotta and yuzu jelly; matcha and pistachio macaron; hojicha Basque cheesecake; edamame and rice-koji milk soup; duck and pear compote; and seasonal vegetable quiche pie. In addition to a gyokuro welcome drink, more than 20 beverages are offered in an unlimited-time free-flow. Seating is available on the terrace or indoors.
