
JR West to Release Limited Myaku-Myaku × Ico-chan Train Strap Goods in Mid-September
Warner Music Japan and the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation (Toei) will hold the “Oh!Ed! Collaboration Campaign” in Tokyo, Japan, from September 8 through October 20.
This is a collaboration between British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and the Toei Oedo Line. A specially decorated train, the “Oh!Ed! Museum Train,” will operate as one eight-car set. Each of the eight cars has its own theme, featuring exhibits on his biography and works, introductions to his latest release, and interactive displays. The train will run from September 8 to October 12.
A limited-design Toei Marugoto Ticket (all-line day pass) will be sold in a quantity of 10,000. Sales locations are: Hikarigaoka, Tochomae, Shinjuku, Yoyogi, Roppongi, Azabu-juban, Tsukijishijo, Tsukishima, and Ryogoku stations on the Oedo Line; Nishi-magome Station on the Asakusa Line; Takashimadaira Station on the Mita Line; and Shinozaki and Motoyawata stations on the Shinjuku Line. Price: 700 yen for adults, 350 yen for children.
A digital stamp rally will be held. Using the Toei Transportation app, you can scan QR codes at stamp rally spots to collect stamps. Locations are Kasuga, Ueno-okachimachi, Kuramae, Ryogoku, and Tochomae stations on the Oedo Line, plus the Toei Transportation along-the-line select shop “Toeiro.” Collect six stamps to receive an A4 clear file and enter a drawing for a not-for-sale T-shirt.
Collaboration goods will be sold at “Toeiro.” Prices (tax included): album “Play” (limited jacket, 3,300 yen), T-shirts (two colors, 5,500 yen each), key holder (1,650 yen), and towel (2,750 yen). Business hours are weekdays 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; closed on Sundays and national holidays.
An along-the-line store collaboration will also take place. At participating stores, customers who purchase eligible products totaling 1,500 yen or more, order from the collaboration menu, or purchase collaboration goods will receive an original sticker. Examples of participating stores include HATCOFFEE, Tokyo CAMERA, and the 109 Cinemas Premium Shinjuku souvenir shop “POST CREDIT.” The period runs from September 8 to October 12.
