Conrad Tokyo in Japan will host the “Halloween Afternoon Tea ‘Graceful Moon’” from September 1 to October 31.
It will feature five sweets and three savory items that express a fantastical world. The menu includes “Mont Blanc,” “Chamomile Cassis Tart,” “Blackberry Tea Chocolate Mousse,” “Kitō Yuzu and Apple Rare Cheesecake,” “Kyoho Grape and Pitaya Jelly,” “Mushroom Mousse and Shiso Gelée,” “Foie Gras Fondant with Maple Leaf and Mole Sauce,” and “Couscous and Crab Tartare with Beet Sauce.”
The Deluxe Afternoon Tea adds a celebratory glass of Champagne and a Kyoho grape plate to the Standard Afternoon Tea menu and is served on a high stand. In addition, from 6:30 p.m. during the same period, guests can enjoy the “Halloween Night Tea,” which offers four savory items—including “Salmon and Red Wine Chaud-Froid with Fennel Mousse,” inspired by a moon glowing red in the night sky by layering red wine jelly over salmon—together with four sweets and free-flow drinks such as beer and sparkling wine.
The venue is the 28th-floor Bar & Lounge “TwentyEight.” Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a two-hour seating time. Prices: “Standard Afternoon Tea” JPY 7,900 on weekdays and JPY 8,500 on weekends and holidays; “Halloween Conrad Bear-Included Standard Afternoon Tea” JPY 9,900; “Deluxe Afternoon Tea with a glass of Champagne” JPY 13,500. Tax and service charge included.
