Rakuten Group is offering 1,000 Rakuten Points back when you use the ‘Rakuten Travel Furusato Tax Coupon’ available on Rakuten Furusato Nozei.
With the ‘Rakuten Travel Furusato Tax Coupon,’ by donating to a municipality in Japan, you receive coupons worth 30% of your donation amount. The coupons can be used at over 26,000 accommodations nationwide in Japan and are valid for stays up to three years out. You can combine up to three types of coupons, and apply the discount retroactively to reservations already made. You also earn Rakuten Points based on the amount spent.
Eligible bookings are domestic stays in Japan at participating properties for two or more guests per reservation totaling at least 8,000 yen. The entry and booking period runs from 10:00 a.m. on September 1 through September 30, and the stay period is from September 1 through December 31. Day trips and day-use plans are excluded.
