Sotetsu Grand Fresa Kumamoto in Japan has collaborated with Sagami Railway’s mascot “Sounyan” and Kumamoto Prefecture’s Sales and Happiness Manager mascot “Kumamon” to offer a “Sounyan × Kumamon Collaboration Room” available through March 31, 2026.
The room is a Standard Twin, limited to two rooms per day. The interior features tapestries depicting Kumamoto Castle and Kuratake Shrine (Kumamoto Prefecture) and Yokohama’s Minato Mirai, a bed runner and cushions made from “Sounyan Train” seat fabric, and towels embroidered with both characters. Guests receive one set per room of a Kumamon clear file and stickers of both characters.
