Japan’s Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide to Fully Acquire Ace Group International
Ken Hotel & Resort Holdings will rebrand Orion Hotel Naha in Naha, Okinawa, Japan, as “Ryukyu Orion Hotel Naha Kokusai Street” and reopen on October 1.
Ken Corporation had acquired the land and building from Orion Breweries effective May 15. Operations at the first-floor dining venue, “THE ORION BEER DINING,” will continue. On the same day, Akira Mano will assume the position of general manager.
Orion Hotel Naha opened in 1975 as Hotel Royal Orion. The building has 9 floors above ground and 2 below, with 209 guest rooms. Facing Kokusai Street, it has long been loved as a city hotel featuring restaurants and banquet halls. In addition to renovating all guest rooms in July 2018, renovation work was carried out for the November 2023 rebranding.
To commemorate the rebranding, “Halloween Night 2025 at THE ORION BEER DINING” will be held on October 31. SUGARSOUL & DJ HASEBE will appear as guest performers, and a costume contest will also take place. Tickets are 6,000 yen in advance and 7,000 yen at the door.
Access: About a 3-minute walk from Yui Rail Makishi Station.
