RISONARE Atami in Atami, Shizuoka, Japan, will host “Sea Creatures Halloween” from October 1 to 31.
This is the fifth edition of the event. This year introduces a new witch inspired by kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) that inhabits Sagami Bay, along with the witch’s house. Guests can receive event-exclusive sweets from the witch, dress up in 20 types of ocean-themed costumes for photo sessions, and feel immersed in an undersea world. The venue, the atrium “Activity Lounge” designed to evoke Sagami Bay, will be decorated with a sea-creature theme.
Location: Activity Lounge. Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cookies and drinks are served from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Open to overnight guests; admission is free.
