Sheraton Kagoshima will offer a “Shine Muscat Afternoon Tea” from August 1 through October 31.
The first items are a “grape tasting” featuring high-sugar grape varieties selected for the season, and “grape chocolate sweets.” The sweets selection includes “Shine Muscat shortcake,” “Shine Muscat rare cheesecake,” “Shine Muscat panna cotta,” and “Shine Muscat fruit daifuku.” Savories include “Marinated Kagoshima kampachi (greater amberjack) with Shine Muscat,” “Capellini with shrimp, okra, and Shine Muscat,” and “sausage corn dog,” featuring plenty of ingredients from Kagoshima Prefecture. Scones are offered in “plain” and “Muscat raisin & Chiran tea” varieties (served with Shine Muscat jam and clotted cream).
Drinks include Sheraton Kagoshima original flavored teas (black-tea blend and green-tea blend), as well as tea and coffee, available on a free-flow basis.
Location: 19th-floor bar “VIVARIUM.” Seatings start at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., with 120 minutes per seating. Price: 5,000 yen (tax and service charge included).
