On August 27, Traveloka began allowing users to exchange points from its Traveloka travel booking platform for Ponta points in Japan.
Hotel and activity bookings earn 1% back, and points are also granted through the app’s daily missions. Redemptions are accepted at a rate of 1 Traveloka point = 1 Ponta point, from 200 points and in increments of 100 points. Submit your request while logged into the app; processing is carried out at the beginning of the following month, and points are generally credited by the end of that month.
Traveloka operates one of Southeast Asia’s largest travel booking services, handling hotels, flights, airport transfers, rental cars, and local activities. It operates in Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, Singapore, Australia, and elsewhere, and fully entered the Japanese market this spring.
