Turkish Airlines Launches Istanbul–Seville Route
Thai AirAsia X will launch the Bangkok/Don Mueang–Almaty route on December 1.
The airline will operate four round trips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using Airbus A330 aircraft. The flight time is 7 hours 10 minutes from Bangkok/Don Mueang and 6 hours 40 minutes from Almaty.
Almaty is known for its cool climate year-round. In winter you can enjoy skiing, and the city offers natural attractions such as Almaty Lake and Charyn Canyon, as well as sights like Zenkov Cathedral and the Green Bazaar. Within the AirAsia group, AirAsia X already serves Almaty from Kuala Lumpur. This will be Thai AirAsia X’s first route to Central Asia.
Thai AirAsia X operates nine Airbus A330s. From its Bangkok/Don Mueang base, it serves seven cities: Tokyo/Narita, Osaka/Kansai, Nagoya/Chubu, Sapporo/Chitose (all in Japan), Seoul/Incheon, Delhi, and Shanghai/Pudong.
