
Cathay Pacific to Resume Hong Kong–Seattle Service from March 30, 2026
Calbee will launch “Jaga Pokkuru Hokkaido Butter Flavor” at airport duty-free shops across Japan from September 29.
“Jaga Pokkuru,” a long-selling Hokkaido souvenir for over 20 years, is made with 100% Hokkaido-grown potatoes. To preserve umami, the potatoes are cut whole with their skins on. The brand is currently sold at Hokkaido souvenir shops and elsewhere in flavors such as “Okhotsk Salt” and “Scallop Salt.”
The new “Hokkaido Butter Flavor” balances rich, buttery depth with a moderate saltiness for a taste that doesn’t get old. It will be sold exclusively at shops located past security in international airports nationwide in Japan. This marks Calbee’s first product available exclusively at international airports.
Each box contains six 18-gram packets. Pricing is open, with an expected retail price around 1,000 yen.
