Japan Airlines (JAL) will run a one-day campaign on September 25 to coincide with “Nikko Day” (a JAL promotional day in Japan), awarding up to 5 times the miles on donations made through its JAL Furusato Nozei (Japan’s hometown tax donation program) service.
Normally, 1 mile is awarded per ¥100, but during the period it will be 4x. If you pay with a JAL Card and are enrolled in Shopping Miles Premium, it will be 5x.
Donations made during the period are eligible any number of times. Disaster relief donations and general support donations, as well as donations made using JAL Shopping Points, are excluded. Donations to JAL Furusato Crowdfunding are eligible. (Image: JAL)
