ZIPAIR Tokyo has signed a sponsorship agreement with the Houston Astros and has been named the team’s Official International Airline.
This is the first time a Japanese airline has been appointed as the Houston Astros’ Official International Airline. The agreement term is three years.
ZIPAIR Tokyo launched the Tokyo/Narita–Houston route on March 4 this year. The company says the sponsorship was concluded as a result of efforts to raise brand recognition locally.
The Houston Astros are a Major League Baseball (MLB) club in the American League West Division.
