On September 30, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs imposed an administrative sanction on Shell Tourist pursuant to Article 65, Paragraph 1 of Japan’s Travel Agency Act.
For violating the Act by arranging buses at fares below the minimum fares and charges filed by the bus operator, a nine-day business suspension order was issued under Article 19, Paragraph 1 of the Travel Agency Act. The suspension period is nine days, from October 1 through 9.
