
Skymark launches Kobe–Taipei/Taoyuan charters, first international service in 5.5 years
Malaysia Airlines and its group airline Firefly will expand routes in the ASEAN region and Oceania.
For Malaysia Airlines, all flights operate to and from Kuala Lumpur: from October 26, 11 round trips per week to Malé and 10 to Auckland, and 5 to Ahmedabad; from October 30, 21 to Melbourne; from October 31, 21 to Sydney; from November 1, 4 to Xiamen; from November 5, 21 to Dhaka; from December 1, 14 to Perth and 7 to Trivandrum; and from February 1, 2026, 7 to Adelaide.
Firefly will also operate the following: from August 21, 11 round trips per week to Kuching; from August 22, 7 to Singapore; from August 23, 7 to Johor Bahru; from August 26, 10 to Penang; from August 30, 7 to Kelantan/Terengganu; and from September 3, 3 to Sibu.
Furthermore, from December 1, the Kuala Lumpur/Subang–Penang route will increase to 42 round trips per week and the Kuala Lumpur/Subang–Johor Bahru route to 26 per week; from January 1, 2026, the Penang–Langkawi route will increase to 10 round trips per week.
