JR East to run retro-wrapped Yamanote Line trains in Tokyo for 100th anniversary
East Japan Railway Company (JR East) and Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) Energy Partner in Japan have launched a service to convert Kurashi TEPCO Points into JRE POINT, starting at 2:00 p.m. on September 17.
The conversion is handled via Dot Money and is the first mechanism that enables exchanges into JRE POINT from programs other than JR East services and JR Hotel Members. Eligible users must be both Kurashi TEPCO web members and JRE POINT members. Each transaction must be 300 points or more, accepted in single-point increments, with a monthly cap of 100,000 points per account. The exchange rate is 1:1. Applications are made from the points page on Kurashi TEPCO web, and the points will be reflected in about three business days after applying.
Exchanges from JRE POINT to Kurashi TEPCO Points are not available.
