Hilton Nagoya in Japan will hold its Christmas sweets buffet “Holiday Jewel Box” from November 6 to December 28.
At the live station, chefs will finish and serve strawberry shortcake, matcha Mont Blanc with freshly piped Japanese chestnut, and torched Basque cheesecake right before your eyes. On the buffet, selections include Paris-Brest — a ring-shaped choux pastry filled with praline-flavored cream — and Black Forest, where the tartness of griotte cherries and the rich aroma of kirsch harmonize with chocolate, as well as fruit tarts topped with figs and berries, and stollen combining dried fruits and roasted nuts.
The venue is IN PLACE 3-3, the all-day dining restaurant on the 1st floor. The buffet is offered on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Japanese public holidays. Hours are 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (food service until 4:30 p.m.). Prices are 5,500 yen for adults and 2,750 yen for children ages 6–12, tax and service charge included.
During the same period, a time-of-day “Christmas Afternoon Tea” will be available daily. “Christmas Morning High Tea” and “Christmas Evening High Tea” will also be served, with live jazz performances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
Christmas Afternoon Tea is offered from 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., except from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on days when the sweets buffet is held. The price is 5,500 yen.
Christmas Morning High Tea is available from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with last entry at 10:30 a.m. The price is 5,000 yen. Christmas Evening High Tea is available from 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Monday–Thursday and Sunday, and from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. on Friday, Saturday, and the day before Japanese public holidays. Last food order is at 10:30 p.m. The price is 6,500 yen.
