Aman Kyoto is offering the “Tamba Chestnut Mont Blanc” from October 1 through December 31.
Created under the supervision of the pastry chef, the dessert features six layers wrapped in freshly piped Tamba chestnut cream. Inside are layers of Tamba black soybean crème brûlée, fresh cream, matcha ganache, and chestnut mousse, set on a hazelnut financier base. It is finished with a black sesame tuile and served with Tamba chestnut ice cream. An original coffee, tea, or herbal tea is included, and guests also receive a takeaway Tamba chestnut pound cake.
Location: “The Living Pavilion by Aman” in Kyoto, Japan. Service starts from 3:00 p.m., with 90-minute seatings. Advance reservation required; limited quantities. Price: 12,000 yen.
