Qantas Airways will extend and increase flights on its seasonal Perth–Rome route.
It will extend the operating period by eight weeks, running from May 3 through October 23, 2026. During the peak season from June 27 to September 26, service will be increased from three to four weekly round trips by adding Saturday to the existing Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday schedule, providing approximately 10,000 additional seats. All Rome departures operate the following day.
The route will be operated with Boeing 787-9 aircraft. Scheduled flight time is 16 hours 25 minutes from Perth and 15 hours 45 minutes from Rome.
Qantas Airways currently flies from Perth to London, Paris, Rome, and Singapore, and will also serve Johannesburg and London from December.
