At a pace of roughly three new openings per day, the milestone was achieved about one year after reaching 8,000 properties. Hilton attributes this to strong owner interest and robust conversion rates.
Hilton operates 24 brands and more than 1.3 million rooms across 139 countries and territories worldwide. It has significantly expanded its portfolio in India, Africa, and Saudi Arabia, and plans to increase its luxury lifestyle hotels in the Asia-Pacific region to over 250 properties.
