Japan Airlines (JAL) will hold the “JAL de Pumpkin Campaign 2025” from October 1 to 31.
At 46 airports across Japan, “Jumbo Pumpkins” and “ornamental pumpkins” grown in Saroma Town will be on display. The airport with the most attractive display will receive a commemorative plaque from the mayor of Saroma Town.
By scanning the QR code printed on a poster or leaflet displayed near the exhibit area and answering a quiz, entrants can enter a drawing to win prizes: Saroma Wagyu beef + a JAL model airplane (1 winner), Saroma Town specialty products (10 winners), a Saroma Town specialty variety set (30 winners), and dried scallop adductor muscles produced in Saroma Town (50 winners).
