Skymark Airlines, a Japanese carrier, will revise its excess baggage fees effective for flights on and after October 26.
For checked baggage, passengers can check items free of charge up to a total of 20 kilograms, with each piece measuring within 50 cm × 60 cm × 120 cm. By paying excess baggage fees, items up to 32 kg per piece and up to a total of 100 kg can be checked.
Currently, an additional JPY 1,000 is charged for every 10 kilograms of excess weight. From the same date, the fee will be JPY 2,000 up to 30 kg, with an additional JPY 1,000 for every 10 kg thereafter.
