Firefly will launch routes from Kuala Lumpur to Krabi (Thailand), Siem Reap (Cambodia), and Cebu (Philippines).
The Krabi route will operate one roundtrip daily from November 17; the Siem Reap route will operate three roundtrips per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from November 27; and the Cebu route will operate five roundtrips per week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from December 2. All flights will be operated as a codeshare with Malaysia Airlines.
For itineraries connecting to Malaysia Airlines flights, passengers can enjoy smooth transfers and through-checked baggage at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 1. When booked under a Malaysia Airlines flight number, the same free checked baggage allowance as Malaysia Airlines will be offered.
