Hotel New Otani Hakata is selling autumn cakes through November 30.
The lineup features new, autumn-only items. The menu includes “Super Mont Blanc” (3,780 yen), which combines Japanese chestnut paste with matcha meringue and matcha custard cream; “New Extra Super Grape Shortcake” (3,564 yen), made with Shine Muscat and Japan-grown Pione grapes; and “Super Marron Shortcake” (3,024 yen), which layers Castella made with Taiyo eggs from Nagasaki Prefecture with steamed chestnuts and matcha custard cream, paired with kuromitsu sweet red bean paste, kuromitsu jelly, and bite-size daifuku. Other offerings include “New Marron Roll” (1,566 yen), “Marron Pudding” (1,512 yen), “Grape Jelly” (1,674 yen), and “Iwaizumi Yogurt Jelly (Grape)” (1,404 yen).
