
Hilton Opens 9,000th Hotel in San Antonio, Texas
Keio Plaza Hotel in Japan will open the UKAI-operated restaurant THE UKAI Tofuya (tentative name) in December 2026.
This will be UKAI’s first directly managed outlet located inside a hotel in Japan. The cuisine will be Japanese, centered on Ukai tofu. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will feature dishes pairing house-made tofu with seasonal ingredients. A salon area will also be provided, offering alcoholic beverages and small confections. The interior is designed around a theme of duality, blending tradition and innovation, and combining serenity with vibrancy.
With the opening, 懐石蒼樹庵、和食かがり、日本酒バー天乃川 will close as of January 12, 2026.
