Japan Airlines (JAL) will end its codeshare and mileage partnership with Hawaiian Airlines as of April 21, 2026.
This change follows the merger of Hawaiian Airlines and Alaska Airlines, with the partnership shifting to Alaska Airlines.
For travel on or after April 22, 2026, tickets will be rebooked to Alaska Airlines-operated flights, and mileage accrual rates will follow those applicable when flying on Alaska Airlines.
Reservations for Hawaiian Airlines award tickets for travel on or after that date will close on October 15, and from October 16 they can be booked as Alaska Airlines award tickets.
