
Asiana Airlines to Suspend Kumamoto–Seoul/Incheon Route on October 25
Sichuan Airlines has once again postponed the resumption of its Sapporo/New Chitose (Japan) – Chengdu route.
Although the carrier had planned to resume service from October 26, it has decided to suspend operations through December 31.
From January 2026, the airline will operate three round trips per week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The route will be served by Airbus A321neo aircraft. The scheduled flight time is 7 hours 5 minutes from Sapporo/New Chitose and 5 hours 35 minutes from Chengdu.
Sichuan Airlines will be the only airline operating this route.
