IndiGo has finalized a firm order for 30 Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
This converts the memorandum of understanding signed in June into a firm order, bringing its total Airbus A350 orders to 60 aircraft.
In April 2024, IndiGo placed a firm order for 30 A350-900s and held options for 70 more. It is converting 30 of those options into firm orders. The first delivery is scheduled for 2027.
The aircraft are intended for long-haul operations. Since March, IndiGo has been sequentially introducing six widebody aircraft through wet leases and has commenced service to Europe.
