Japan Airlines (JAL) and Royal Brunei Airlines resumed their codeshare from October 1.
In addition to the Tokyo/Narita–Bandar Seri Begawan route operated by Royal Brunei Airlines, the two carriers will place each other’s flight numbers on select Japan domestic routes operated by JAL, including major cities such as Nagoya and Osaka.
Royal Brunei Airlines says this marks an important milestone in re-strengthening bilateral relations and in promoting tourism, business, and cultural exchange between Japan and Brunei, and that enhanced connectivity and convenience are expected to improve the travel experience.
