KITAMAE BASE will open “KITAMAE BASE Kaga Hashitate” on November 6 in Japan.
The property is a renovated traditional ryotei restaurant, co-created with local carpenters, furniture artisans, fishers, and designers. It offers a total of nine guest rooms: two ocean-view suites and seven standard rooms, each with a different theme.
Facilities include a shop featuring items co-created with local companies, a private-use bath, and a night lounge overlooking the Sea of Japan. At the Chef’s Counter run by the dedicated in-house chef, available exclusively to suite guests, creative dishes showcasing local ingredients—such as seafood from Hashidate Port and Kaga vegetables—prepared with French techniques are served with regional crafts including Kutani ware and Yamanaka lacquerware.
An opening commemorative accommodation plan will be available for stays with checkout through December 19, starting November 6. Rates start from 25,168 yen for standard rooms (with breakfast) and from 104,786 yen for suites (with two meals). Tax and service charge included. Reservations are already open.
