On October 21, the Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government imposed an administrative action on 悠活国際 pursuant to Article 65, Paragraph 1 of Japans Travel Agency Act.
Although a new registration application for the travel services arrangement business was filed on June 14, a review of the application found that the Travel Services Manager for 悠活国際s travel services arrangement business is the same individual who serves as the Travel Services Manager at 博禹観光, which is registered in Tokyo as a travel agency. Concurrent service by a Travel Services Manager is not permitted under the law, and the registration was therefore refused pursuant to Article 26, Paragraph 1 of the Travel Agency Act.
悠活国際 was established in December 2018. Headquartered in Adachi Ward, Tokyo, it has capital of 20 million yen and 17 employees as of April. The company engages in passenger transportation, automobile maintenance, road service, and car rental. In its passenger transportation business, it handles sightseeing and transfers using Toyota Alphard and HiAce vehicles.
博禹観光 was established in July 2015. Headquartered in Katsushika Ward, Tokyo, it has capital of 12.26 million yen. The company engages in the travel agency business, travel services arrangement, and general chartered passenger automobile transportation. It registered as a travel services arrangement business in November 2014.
