HIS announced that 澤田秀太 will assume the position of Representative Director and President effective January 28, 2026.
澤田秀太 is the eldest son of founder 澤田秀雄. After working at Best One.com and elsewhere, he was appointed as a director of HIS in January 2020. He currently serves as Director and Senior Executive Officer.
President and CEO 矢田素史 will become Representative Director and Chairman; Executive Officer 岩間雄二 will become Director; and Senior Advisor 澤田秀雄 will become Director and Senior Advisor. 松本高一 will be appointed as an independent outside director, and 香川進吾 will be appointed as an independent outside director and Audit and Supervisory Committee member.
In addition, Senior Managing Director 中森達也, Managing Director 織田正幸, and independent outside director and Audit and Supervisory Committee member 鍋島厚 will step down. 中森達也 will become Director and Executive Vice President of H.I.S. Hotel Holdings, and 織田正幸 will become Representative Director and President of 九州産業交通ホールディングス.
