China Airlines to Launch Disney ‘Zootopia 2’ Special Livery on 777-300ER
Finnair will resume operation of all Airbus A321 aircraft within this month.
After receiving a notice from the seat cover manufacturer that the impact of washing the seat covers with water on fire resistance had not been verified, it suspended operations on October 13.
It is proceeding with the replacement of about 1,700 seat covers across 8 aircraft, and six aircraft will return to service within a week. The new seat covers will be procured from multiple suppliers.
Seats are typically cleaned once every two years. Washing with water is a standard cleaning method, and the same cleaning is performed on other aircraft types as well.
From October 15, it has been operating some flights by wet-leasing two aircraft from DAT LT. Until full operations resume, cancellations or delays, changes to the operating airline, and equipment changes may occur.
