Tigerair Taiwan will operate charter flights on the Kumamoto (Japan)–Kaohsiung route starting December 23.
There will be two round trips per week on Tuesdays and Fridays. An Airbus A320 will be used. The scheduled flight time is 2 hours 55 minutes from Kumamoto and 2 hours 5 minutes from Kaohsiung. These will operate as charter flights.
On the same route, its parent company China Airlines also operates four weekly round trips on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
