
KLM unveils new intercontinental service concept; Premium Comfort expansion on Boeing jets from 2027
Japan Airlines (JAL) will sell the premium shochu “Mori Izo” (森伊蔵) exclusively by pre-order on its international flights.
Produced by Mori Izo Shuzo, a shochu distillery founded in 1885 in Japan, this premium imo (sweet potato) shochu is carefully matured over 10 years. A dedicated paper bag is included. Price: 40,000 yen.
Sales are available through the “Pre-order Service” for JAL Mileage Bank Diamond and JGC Premier members. The travel period begins on December 15. The Pre-order Service accepts orders from the 25th of the month prior to the flight date until 72 hours before departure.
Available on medium- and long-haul routes to and from Japan. Limit one bottle per person. (Image: JAL)
