JR East (East Japan Railway Company) will offer a special redemption rate for the Shinkansen e-Ticket (JRE POINT Reward).
Implemented as part of the Aomori Prefecture & Hakodate Sightseeing Campaign. Eligible trains are Ordinary Car reserved seats on the Tohoku Shinkansen Hayabusa: Tokyo, Ueno, or Omiya – Hachinohe, Shichinohe-Towada, or Shin-Aomori for 8,000 points; Sendai – Hachinohe, Shichinohe-Towada, or Shin-Aomori for 5,000 points.
The travel period is from December 1 to 24, and the redemption window is from 10:00 a.m. one month before boarding until 4 minutes before departure on the day.
