An agreement has been signed between an affiliate of Takenaka Corporation and an affiliate of Hyatt. This will be the second Andaz property in Japan after Toranomon, Tokyo, and marks Hyatt’s first entry into Japan’s Chugoku region.
Located in the Kamiya-cho/Hatchobori area in central Hiroshima City, the hotel will occupy floors 21–31 of the high-rise “KAMIHACHI X (Kamihachi Cross),” which is being built as part of the Motomachi Aioi-dori District Type-1 Urban Redevelopment Project.
The property will feature 235 guest rooms, a restaurant and rooftop bar & restaurant, banquet facilities, an indoor pool, and a fitness center.
Access: approximately a 1-minute walk from the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) Tatemachi stop.
