Etihad Airways will launch the Abu Dhabi–Zanzibar route on June 14, 2026.
It will operate four round trips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays through September 6, 2026. The route will be served by Airbus A320 aircraft. The scheduled flight time is 5 hours 40 minutes in both directions.
Zanzibar is an archipelago of Tanzania in the Indian Ocean, known for stunning beaches and coral reefs. It becomes the 30th destination Etihad Airways has announced for launch this year.
