Japan Transocean Air (JTA) will launch the Okinawa/Naha–Taipei/Taoyuan route on February 3, 2026.
One round-trip will operate daily, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft. The flight time is 1 hour 45 minutes from Okinawa/Naha and 1 hour 30 minutes from Taipei/Taoyuan.
Class J will be treated as Premium Economy, and Standard Seat as Economy. Inflight Wi-Fi is free. Light meals will be served in Premium Economy and snacks in Economy. Premium Economy passengers and travelers who meet the lounge access criteria for JAL-operated flights can use the shared lounge “Ryurin” at Naha Airport and China Airlines’ “Mei Yuan” lounge at Taoyuan International Airport.
To meet robust demand centered on inbound travel to Japan, the airline had aimed to begin service within fiscal 2025. This will be JTA’s first regularly scheduled international route. Ticket sales begin at 10:00 a.m. on December 3.
