ANA Holdings to Integrate AirJapan; Operations End March 28, 2026
Kinki Nippon Tourist, a Japanese travel agency, will sell the “School Trip at Twenty” package.
It targets the generation born in Japan’s fiscal year 2005 who were third-year junior high school students during the COVID-19 pandemic in fiscal 2020 and could not go on their school trip. Offered as a domestic group tour in Japan, the plan recreates the itineraries that were originally scheduled at the time while reflecting participants’ requests and the latest sightseeing information. For example, in the Kansai region, participants can combine visits to Nara Park, Todai-ji Temple, Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion) with experiences such as watching a maiko performance, kimono dressing, and painting Kiyomizu ware, along with creating a trip booklet, an accompanying tour conductor, and a chartered bus.
Destinations and accommodations can be adjusted according to group size and budget, and it can also be arranged in the format of a classmates’ or alumni reunion. The suggested operating periods are February, March, July, and August 2026, for groups of 30 or more. Both are guidelines and can be customized upon request.
