
Toyoko Inn to Sell ‘Local GENKI Badges’ from April 1
Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka (Osaka, Japan) will host an afternoon tea themed on the fairy tale ‘The Snow Queen’ from November 1 to December 25.
The menu features white-themed sweets and savories such as an ice castle crafted from mascarpone mousse; snowflakes set on a Kir Royale-style mousse base; snowman macarons; a reindeer pear tart; a cream puff ‘sleigh’; stollen; a white salad of shrimp and baby scallops; and salmon and potato with whole-grain mustard cream sauce. Drinks are free-flow, with about 20 varieties including Ronnefeldt teas and original blend teas.
Venue: Restaurant & Lounge Bar eu. Hours: 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Price: from 6,000 yen. You can also add 3,500 yen to a dinner course to change the dessert to a two-tier selection of sweets. Tax and service charge included.
At Cafe & Gourmet Shop Cafe Belle, individual items are available: ‘Snowflake’ (850 yen), a Muscat and green apple verrine (900 yen), and the reindeer pear tart (950 yen). Tax included.
