
JAL Cancels and Delays Flights Through Late January 2026 After A350-1000 Damaged at New York JFK
Japan Airlines (JAL) has completed its first overseas heavy maintenance on an Airbus A350-1000 aircraft.
The aircraft was the third frame (registration JA03WJ), and the work was carried out by SASCO in Singapore. The third aircraft was delivered in Toulouse, France, on March 28, 2024, and arrived at Tokyo Haneda Airport on the 31st.
The ferry flight JL8158 is scheduled to depart Singapore shortly after 5:00 a.m. and arrive at Tokyo Haneda Airport in the afternoon of the same day.
For the Airbus A350-900, overseas heavy maintenance was performed on the first frame (JA01XJ) at HAECO in Xiamen, China, in January, and on the 12th frame (JA12XJ) at SASCO in Singapore in July.
