China Eastern Airlines will suspend the Nagoya/Chubu (Japan) – Xi’an route from January 7, 2026.
It currently operates four round trips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, using Airbus A320 aircraft. The flight time is 5 hours 10 minutes from Nagoya/Chubu and 3 hours 40 minutes from Xi’an.
As a result, China Eastern Airlines’ routes to and from Nagoya/Chubu (Japan) will be reduced to two: Nagoya/Chubu – Shanghai/Pudong, and Nagoya/Chubu – Lanzhou via Shanghai/Pudong.
