Starlux to Resume Shimojishima (Okinawa)–Taipei/Taoyuan on Feb 12, 2026; Launch Taichung Route Feb 13

Starlux Airlines will resume flights on the Shimojishima (Okinawa, Japan) – Taipei/Taoyuan route on February 12, 2026.

The airline will operate two round trips per week on Mondays and Thursdays. The service will use an Airbus A321neo configured with 188 seats (8 in business class and 180 in economy). It will operate as a charter through March 26, 2026.

Starlux will also launch the Shimojishima–Taichung route on February 13, 2026, operating two round trips per week on Tuesdays and Fridays.
