Qatar Airways and Air Algérie to Launch Codeshare on November 15
Cathay Pacific Airways is holding an event at Toranomon Hills in Tokyo, Japan, from today, November 6, through November 8, where visitors can experience the new Business Class and Premium Economy Class.
The new ‘Aria Suite’ Business Class, to be introduced on the Tokyo/Haneda–Hong Kong route starting January 2026, and the Premium Economy Class will be on display and available for hands-on experience, along with information about its corporate travel program ‘Business Plus’. Seat trials are by advance reservation.
The ‘Aria Suite’ is a fully flat seat with a door, creating a private suite; it is based on Collins Aerospace’s ‘Elements’ and designed by UK-based JPA Design. The layout is 1-2-1 reverse herringbone. The two center seats can be used as a pair by lowering the divider. Each seat features a 24-inch 4K monitor with Bluetooth support, a wireless charger, and more.
Premium Economy uses the Recaro Aircraft Seating PL3530. The configuration is 2-4-2. It features leather headrests and customized seat cushions, privacy wings with reading lights, and 15.6-inch 4K monitors with Bluetooth connectivity. Dedicated lavatories for Premium Economy are installed on both sides and include touch-free features to minimize contact.
The Boeing 777-300ER equipped with both cabins is configured with 361 seats: 45 in Business Class, 48 in Premium Economy, and 268 in Economy. In booking displays, it appears as ’77J’.
New enrollments in ‘Business Plus’ receive 11,000 miles—the equivalent of one lounge invitation. Double bonus miles will be awarded for travel on the Tokyo–Hong Kong route from January 1 to 31, 2026. Attendees can also enter a drawing to win prizes such as a pair of Business Class tickets by answering a quiz at the venue, and everyone who posts on social media with the specified hashtag will receive a sticker.
In addition, a special offer is available: Business Class at 10% off the regular fare (up to JPY 30,000, limited to the first 150 customers), and Premium Economy at 10% off plus an additional 5% discount (up to JPY 10,000, limited to the first 50 customers).
Dates and times: November 6 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.; November 7 from noon to 8:00 p.m.; and November 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Venue: Station Atrium, B2 floor of Toranomon Hills Station Tower, Tokyo, Japan.
