Korean Air to Increase Seoul/Incheon–Atlanta Flights from March 29, 2026
Air Seoul will increase flights on the Yonago (Japan)–Seoul/Incheon route starting December 23.
Currently, it operates five round-trips per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays; this will become one round-trip per day. The aircraft type is the Airbus A321. Scheduled flight time is 1 hour 50 minutes from Yonago and 1 hour 30 minutes from Seoul/Incheon.
Air Seoul took over the route from its parent company, Asiana Airlines, in October 2016. Although it once operated up to six round-trips per week, service was suspended during the COVID-19 pandemic. Operations resumed in October 2023 with three weekly round-trips, increasing to five weekly in March this year. The seat load factor in October was 87.1%, and it has generally remained in the 80% range since August.
On November 6, a coordination meeting to promote route usage will be held. On December 23, Air Seoul CEO Kim Jung-ho will hold an inaugural ceremony.
