Japan Airlines (JAL), Loyalty Marketing, and KDDI in Japan are running the “20% Increased Exchange Rate for Ponta Points to JAL Miles” campaign from November 1 through December 31, offering a higher rate than usual when converting Ponta points to JAL Mileage Bank miles.
Eligible participants are JMB×Ponta members or holders of the JMB Lawson Ponta Card Visa who are also JAL Mileage Bank (Japan region) members. The usual exchange rate from Ponta to miles is 1 mile per 2 Ponta points; during the campaign, an additional 20% in bonus miles will be awarded. Fractions under 1 mile are rounded down.
The miles corresponding to the increased rate (bonus portion) will be credited around the end of January 2026, separately from the base miles. If, at the time the bonus miles are credited, your JMB×Ponta registration has been canceled or your JMB Lawson Ponta Card Visa has been closed, you will not be eligible.
