Cebu Pacific to Expand Japan Routes; CCO Alexander Lao Outlines Strategy in Tokyo
The Japan Airlines (JAL) Group will implement special handling for tickets due to expected impacts from an extratropical cyclone that evolved from Typhoon No. 26.
As of 4:00 p.m. on November 13 (JST), the special handling applies to flights to and from Yonaguni, Kikaijima, and Amami Oshima on November 13. Regardless of delay or cancellation, tickets for the affected flights can be changed, rebooked, or refunded without fees.
In addition, potential operational impacts are a concern due to poor visibility on Yakushima and Kumejima, and strong winds on Amami Oshima, Tokunoshima, and Okinoerabu.
